MEXICO SLIDESHOW BY LADA!
AJIJIC, LAKE CHAPALA
Total: 128 beautiful pictures I took in Mexico! I just love them!
MEXICO VIDEOS
Top of the list places I've been to and am considering for moving!
(These videos are freely available on Youtube. They are not mine, but I chose them after very careful sifting through a lot of various videos, as to me, they represent the picture most accurately, and they are entertaining, to boot!)
Great Videos from different people, both Mexicans and Americans! You'll notice I chose mostly the young people. I tried to watch videos made by older retired folks, but like with Ajijic, since I'm young at heart I identify much more with the young and vibrant scene!
And another observation! You know what they say about ethnic restaurants: if ethnic people patronize it, this means the food is good! Same with videos! As opposed to Ajijic, Queretaro is covered primarily by young, modern and hip people. What's important - as seen below - these videos are by both Mexicans and Americans! That's not the case with Ajijic: somehow, per my experience, not a single Mexican has done videos about Ajijic in English, and those who do, seem for the most part either retired Americans or realtors!
From left to right:
1. House hunting in Queretaro - a few areas of possible interest.
2. Visiting restaurants and café in Queretaro (btw, their adorable doggie is called "Laska" - it's a Russian word, translating as: affection, love, sweetness).
3. 21 Things you MUST know visiting SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE - that's another town I am considering, 1 hour away from Queretaro.
4. His large rental home in Queretaro -he's very proud of it, let's see how it stacks up ;). What do you guys think?
5. HOW MEXICO'S WEALTHIEST LIVE
6. Queretaro - Mexico's most livable city? - By the way, MY TOP CITY in MX!
7. Inside one of the Richest Neighborhoods In Mexico | Juriquilla, Queretaro
8. Ajijic, Lake Chapala - Dia de la Independencia, how Mexicans celebrate holidays (me, I just escaped before the major holiday season began in May, it was getting awfully crowded in Ajijic, but felt much easier nevertheless, not nearly as much psychic noise and pollution as in the US. People are a lot more genial in Mexico).
9. Maddie's House Hunting in Ajijic, Mexico - lol, a couple of houses on this video look familiar, I was shown them too - as I said, some look like leftovers, the best get snatched up quick! ;) See my pics for some nicer homes and spectacular views - I was only interested in 'a house with a view' - as they call the homes that have a view of the lake, which by the way are harder and harder to come by!
10. Central but NOT Centro | Perfect Querétaro neighborhood for quiet living (Quéretaro Mexico tour)
11. Querétaro Mexico Tour | meet the trendy neighborhood of your dreams
12. Why Queretaro ? 10 Reasons Why We Chose Queretaro
