The US wants a steal and silly Kiev is giving away the farm because they are hoping to get into NATO or get US bases on their territory, which Russia won't allow. So, it will be a very complicated Putin-Biden negotiation.

The USSR's project of the century BAM 1
It has been long known that it is the inspiration that moves mountains and makes people achieve almost impossible in the shortest time possible. The reason for that is higher-dimensional: the vibration of inspiration is on par with the Quantum Calibration of JOY (540-579) and HIGH CREATION (580-599). These are some of absolute highest calibrations available on our planet. On this level of vibration miracles happen. It's not by accident that I call this level (500-699) THE LEVEL OF MAGIC AND MASTERY.
The USSR harnessed this spectacular level very masterfully. The reason for that is of course that the USSR, with its many faults and problems, calibrated as a whole concept much closer to that level than any other country on the planet. And on some level, the USSR leaders understood that their country needed common goals and something inspiring to mobilize the masses. That was because they themselves were great innovators. Never before such a project was attempted. Never before such a breakthrough into the dream of equality and human development was breached. It was a real dream of humanity: to make a giant leap to a better life, to be free and to thrive without limitations of drudgery and oppression. Too bad what we call human nature, but really what was low human calibrations, prevented the realization of that dream and almost destroyed the Great Balancer.
Generally, it has been known for many years by humans and their leaders that belonging to something bigger than themselves makes people inspired and wanting to step out of their comfort zone to achieve breakthroughs. Some live in that state perpetually, or often, such as innovators, athletes and great creators. Others need an extra push.
The USSR did it brilliantly! By building the giant infrastructure projects, it allowed the young people to take part in something much bigger than themselves: creating a better future, building communism, fortifying the country. The same type of inspiration was used for other things Russia traditionally excelled at: the army, ballet, music and sport. Since the inspiration movements usually centered around young people, the Komsomol (the young communist organization, considered a sort of training, precursor to joining the Communist Party of the USSR) was usually the coordinator of such movements.
To additionally inspire and motivate people, some brilliant songs were composed. I have to say Russian music was always great and higher-dimensional, but Soviet songs, with their power, harmonics and awesome lyrics are up there, along with the greatest of classics. They managed to arise many people to a selfless achievement and inspiration. The songs about the volunteers of BAM, the Arctic and Siberian/Far Eastern building and exploration were written during the periods between 1950s and 1970s. Some specifically refer to the 'Komsomol volunteers and explorers,' which often was associated at the time with energy of the young, beautiful and inspired.
Below are several songs that are considered classics. Even without understanding the lyrics you'll be able to feel the power, the wide scope and high intent of those songs. I'll translate a few phrases. The Russian songs tend to be as limitless, broad, generous and expansive, as Russia herself.

Russian railroads, built through the most treacherous and challenging areas of the planet, may in the 21st century become the preferred mode of delivering goods between SE Asia/China/Japan and Russia/Europe, thus reuniting Eurasia, like nothing else can!

Russians may not be the very best at building highways, although they are learning fast. But what Russians always excelled at is building great railroads in the most difficult conditions imaginable, and making them pay. I should know, having come from the family where just about anyone worked for Russian railroads, shipping and other modes of transportation and exploration, including spacecraft. My mother and father both worked for the railroads, and my mother's first job after college was to work for the Sakhalin Railways - the eastern-most island of Russia. Later, she returned to mainland to work in Moscow and Odessa. I grew up amongst trains, ships, spacecraft designs and world maps, which I loved since being a child.
In the 19th century, Russian Empire's big infrastructure project was the famous Trans-Siberian Mega-Railway.
BAM was the 20th century ambitious project to run north of and parallel to the Trans-Siberian. Its strategic significance was just as great, but everything came to a standstill when the USSR fell apart, Russian economy took a major plunge and the need in railroad transit was diminished. Trans-Siberian continued being just as popular, but its northern brother BAM lingered in obscurity. Until now.
Today, the Russian Railroad Co (RZhD) is growing by leaps and bounds, its volumes are doubling every few years and currently Trans-Sib is operating beyond capacity. As transit to and from China mushrooms, both for Russia and for Europe, BAM is experiencing the second birth and a new boom. Quietly, the first, original line of BAM was reconstructed, finished and fortified, thanks to the advanced 21st century tech, not available in the 1970s.
And as BAM also became filled to capacity, Russia - just as quietly - began the construction of the two new lines of BAM.

Soviet songs about BAM and other mega-projects - with authentic Soviet images and footage. As seen in these videos, BAM was a very romantic project by the USSR, which apart from practical application, was designed to spark enthusiasm in the young generations, uniting the nation.
You can see how many enthusiastic young people were working there as volunteer builders, surveyors, engineers, etc. The construction was conducted throughout the 1970s, in the most severe weather conditions on the planet, through the taiga, complete with swamps, permafrost and prevalent winter most of the year round. BAM was dubbed 'the construction of the century.' BAM means: The Baikal-Amur Railway; Rus pronunciation: Baikalo-Amurskaya Magistral'. The USSR really knew how to inspire through songs. The top three are very famous to this day. |

BAM-2: Year 2021 - the New Life of the old icon!
The new branch of BAM is being built now, and the word is the quality of the new construction is especially high. Unlike BAM-1, the new branch is being built by the railway engineering corps of the Russian Army. It's done quietly, efficiently and utilizing the latrst advanced tech.
Why the army? For some very good reasons, the main two being: 1. The fortification of the Far East defense of Russia due to increased threats. The army and Shoigu want to make sure the quality complies with the army standards; 2. Tripling of the shipping volumes from and to China, which means the road is needed urgently and the army is best at that.
There are some maps and images in the short 2021 video on the left. More maps are below, together with my commentary and additional articles.
Video on the right is a long 50 min narrative. It shows in detail some numbers, including how much the transit with increase, how the old rails are being replaced with the new throughout the entire BAM, where the new branches are going, etc.

China has ordered the Power of Siberia-2 second line, and third line is also in discussion. Simultaneously Russia has built additional lines to various destinations within Russia. The pipe connector is also built from the Sakhalin Island (looks like fish on the map), which is oil and gas rich. Also built: new branchout pipe to the coast of the Pacific, where a new major plant conglomerate has been built to extract helium and other rare substances out of the Russian gas. It turns out Russian gas is especially rich in all kinds of rare and valuable additives. Previously, this was wasted, but with the new plants they will be separated and sold internationally. Helium, for instance, is one of the most valued substances, used anywhere from advanced medicine and surgery to space. There is a shortage of helium in the world, with the US, and I believe Qatar, being the production leaders. Russia's new capacity will take at least 1/3 of the market from the other two, possibly more.
Also, the capacity of the Asian market is the strongest and the prices there are the world's highest, therefore, it's most profitable to sell to China and Asia. Consequently, this direction will be very lucrative.
This, yet again, indicates the Great Rebalancing.

The hard part in the East/Siberia/Far East is the harsh climate and lack of infrastructure. While the former cannot be changed, the latter is changing quickly. The infrastructure is being built in record time. That whole giant Siberian/Arctic/Far Eastern territory of Russia will be developing expediently and very impressively.

Now, good highways and more efficient railroads are springing up everywhere, where angels feared to tread in the past. Why is that? Better tech available? YES, that's the outward manifestation of one important thing!
As the Earth Shift and Rebalancing progresses, the West is waning and it has become safer to develop Siberia, building roads there! How do all invaders invade? How did they invade Russia in the past? Via roads. Do you recall the eternal old complaint: Russia has bad roads. Believe it or not, bad roads served in the past as a deterrent to invasions!
The vast majority of all invasions into Russia in the past 500 or more years were from the West! Do you remember Madeline Albright complaining that Siberia belongs to Russia only and that it should not belong to one country.
The reason Siberia belongs to Russia and Russia alone is because Siberia is too important and cannot be entrusted to the vicious, agressive, predatory western capitalists. The absence of roads preserved its pristine nature and its many amazing gifts. And of course, it always saved it from invaders.
Now, that the West is losing power, being focused on the western-most flank or the Russian World and Post-USSR, the Siberian-Arctic-Far Eastern routes are developing and thriving.
And this is just the beginning!
The map of Trans-Siberian and BAM - and my childhood recollections:
Trans-Siberian (black and white on map) skirts the southern shore of Lake Baikal, with much milder weather. BAM (black and blue on map) goes along the northern shore of Baikal, where the climate is incomparably harsher. The original BAM branches out of the Trans-Sib past Krasnoyarsk and at Taishet. It runs through its headquarters at Tinda to the Amur River in the Far East and and the cities of Komsomolsk-na-Amure and Port Vanino on the Pacific, right across from Sakhalin. There, you can catch a ferry to the Sakhalin Island. It looks like a fish on this map. My mother worked there in the 1950s, fresh out of the Transportation College in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. When I grew up we regularly got presents from her Sakhalin friends: the cans of red caviar.
Parts of BAM1 were not finished and they are being completed or renovated now. Also a major north-south branch-out is being built, dubbed BAM3, which is being built by a private company engaged in a lucrative natural resource mining being sold to China and other Asian countries. The reason these new roads are necessary is because the existing roads are filled beyond capacity. Business is booming and China is ready to buy more.
You can see the new branch-outs on map 2 below. The major north-south branch-out - BAM3 - to Yakutsk is shown here. The map also shows various natural resource deposits and plants along the way, which will be serviced by BAM 1, 2 and 3.
Therefore, a romantic Soviet BAM project turned into a very practical solution for the modern Russia.
The hard part in the East/Siberia/Far East is the harsh climate and lack of infrastructure. While the former cannot be changed, the latter is changing quickly. The infrastructure is being built in record time. That whole giant Siberian/Arctic/Far Eastern territory of Russia will be developing expediently and very impressively.

Russia's Arctic Trade Route, circling Eurasia and connecting both Russian and foreign destinations, most notably, the ports of Asia with Europe and the Middle East
North-South Transport Corridor. One of the most ambitious Russian projects, which is supposed to unite the Arctic and Baltic, from St Petersburg and Ust-Luga Port, through Caucasus (mainly Azerbaijan) to Iran and on to India and Indian Ocean. It may also go to Pakistan.
An alternative may go through Belarus and Poland to Germany by land, instead of going to the ports of St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga. The snag is the unfriendly Poland and flip-flopping Belarus.
Map 1 shows all of Russia and Eurasia, together with East-West Route and North-South Route encircling India. The land route is the railroad planned through Azerbaijan. But it's a very difficult region. Alternative could be the sea route through the Caspian, directly from Russia to Iran, bypassing the uncertain regimes of the Caucasus.
